May 1, 2010 it was Labor Day here in the Philippines but as when a holiday falls on a weekend, the President tends to move its non working celebration on a working day.
On this day, I haven't noticed that Pilipinas Got Talent will be having its Semi Finals Competition on this night live! I actually missed the show because I arrived at already past 9pm from work. When I arrived home and got a chance that mom to open a conversation, she just talked about her admiration for Jovit Baldivino. " Remember that Arnel Pineda junior?" she opened with that question and began humming the tune of Faithfully which Jovit sung on his first appearance on the show. At first, I didn't react that much because, I am thinking that it was just a simple performance made by Jovit this semi-finals.
The next day came when one of my fellow worker talked about Baldivino. It was a great performance he said and on the episode he sung the song Carrie which gave the boy a standing ovation. I wasn't really imagining what happened since I am the person who is "to see is to believe" follower. This Monday that the internet is open, I searched for the Jovit Baldivino. The bufferring of the video takes too long until it came that the hosts introduced him. According to Billy Crawford, Jovit got 3,000,000 views on YouTube on his first performance.
And when it was Jovit's time to shine out once again, I had this goosebumps upon seeing the stage fully equipped like there was a concert of an international star. Then I saw Jovit in a green jacket in the middle confidently standing and full of spirit of victory. The goosebumps became more intense when I heard his voice sing Carrie and the crowd together with the judges gave him what he deserves; the standing ovation which he pioneered on this edition.
The Male Charice Pempengco
During his first appearance, I already tagged him as the male Charice Pempengco. This was also proudly said by Kris Aquino after his performance. On YouTube, he accumulated more than 3,000,000 views and I believe, bloggers like me gave him a space on their pages as a way for this boy to have his international recognition soon. Looking back on YouTube, Jovits Semi-Final video which titled Jovit Baldivino Carrie Semi-Finals May 01, 2010 Pilipinas Got Talent Top 36 Episode Europe already got 342,384 views as of date. The owner of the video appeals for another 3,000,000 views for Jovit.
A Jejemon is basically a variation of homo sapiens sub-species Jeje that originates in the Asia-Pacific island nation the Philippines. Jejes on the other hand are of the pure and original form and is claimed to have originated in what we know today as Latin America. This post will discuss the Jejemon strain of the Jejes.
Jejemons (Jejemonus Filiponensis) are creatures of the night. Their activity period ranges from 8pm to 4am local time. They have been discovered by the world-renowned Filipino adventurer Juan dela Cruz in the early start of the millennium.
It is said that Jejemons are often seen clustering around social networking sites such as Facebook and Friendster. They are also spotted in massive numbers in television chat rooms albeit they were just starting to flourish at the time of Juan dela Cruz's discovery of them. To date, there is an estimated 7.4 million Jejemons thriving in the Philippines. They have since started booming proportionally with the fast global progress of technology.
Resume of an Average Jejemon
t is difficult to distinguish Jejemons from normal human beings solely by physical appearance. They look like human beings, they eat like human beings, they dress like human beings (see: gangster). A Jejemon can only be distinguished by their writing language, the Jejebet. The Jejebet is a combination of the English alphabet and counting numbers which, in a strange mix of character substitution, surprisingly makes words that are understandable only to the Jejes and Jejeologists (normal people that study Jejemons).
Jejemons are generally thought to have very low IQs, although this claim still remains unproven. This might be due to the failure of the Jejebrain to produce and terminate brain cells than that of the normal rate of average human beings. Extreme head heat (which have been thought to decrease brain size) while wearing gangsta caps and gangsta shirts and 24/7 beer diets have been also attributed for the Jejemons' low IQ levels.

Average Jejemons, complete with Jeje hand signs
Below are some of the basic Jejemon words (Warning: May cause severe headache if you try too hard to understand. Patience and comprehension is required):
aQcKuHh - means me/ako
lAbqCkyOuHh - means I love you
yuHh - means you
jAjaJa - garbled words conveying laughter
jeJejE - a variation of jAjaJa; conveys sly laughter
iMiszqcKyuH - means I miss you
eEoW pFhUeEhsxz - means hi/hello
(Credits to Jejeologist Dharwin Chaarlez for the above)
The main media used by Jejemons are both basic and advanced cellphone units, television units and personal computer units.
Just a couple of years ago, Jejemons have started "evolving" their eye color (from the original brown to blue or purple or pink) through their extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and various internet programs. This behavior is proof that they are indeed capable of higher intelligence, an action previously thought of as impossible by many Jejeientists (normal people that study Jeje sciences).
Normal people have since started to act to eradicate the thriving Jejemon population. These normal people identify themselves as Grammar Nazis and/or Jejebusters (started appearing 2 years after the Great Jejemon Infestation; also known as the GJI of 2001). They actively seek and hunt Jejemon communities with only one purpose: to eliminate. Their preferred weapon is the MG13-liLipAdkaAyUohH grammar gun and the BZ-aRayqcKuoHh rocket-propelled paragraph grenade. It is manufactured and supplied by an unidentified grammar armaments specialty group in an undisclosed location in the Philippines. Their equipment is mainly made of S-grade Manila Bulletin Newspaper vests which boasts impressive proper grammar. "Extream Panda" is currently the Grammar Nazi's mascot.
Recently the Philippine Government, spearheaded by Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, has moved to the decision considering Jejemons a threat to society and its normal living conditions. With the upcoming elections nearing, presidential aspirants and political parties here and there have been vowing to halt the ferocious growth of the Jejemons. One well-known aspirant, Gilberto Teodoro Jr. has promised to push forward the JSE (Jejemon Specialty Education) into law if voted for president.

Teodoro was one of the first to recognize the perils of Jejenism (the Jejemon religion; not to be confused with Jejemonism, the belief that Jejemons are superior than normal people) and its undue but very influential teachings. Jejeientists, Jejeologists, Jejebusters and Grammar Nazis have expressed their delight and have stated that they are more than ready to participate in this historic undertaking by stopping Jejemons from learning the Jejenese language (speaking language of Jejemons together with the Jejebet; has been recently discovered by Jejeientist Ranzkiedoodles during her grueling sojourn at Jejeland) and instead teaching them the normal speaking languages of Filipino and English.
A word of caution to normal people and would-be Jejebusters and Grammar Nazis: Be careful. They're out there. They prey on A+ grammar users like you. Make sure you have the right equipment to face them. When you come face-to-face with a group of Jejemons, do not fight back. Instead, delete their text message or close your internet browser and lie down. Failure to do so will result in severe headache. If you want to purchase armaments and protective gear for Jejemon elimination, feel free to do so by calling 1-800-JEJEMON. No licenses required. Not covered by the COMELEC gun ban. Conditions apply.
----------
Heh, this is a work of fiction. I just wasted an hour and a half of my life with this. Was just fascinated by Jejemons. Credits to the guys in the pic. I don't have any idea who they are either.
'Till my next installment.

I was so shocked that our fellow Bicolano and BUeño Maria VEnus Raj was dethroned as BB.PILIPINAS-UNIVERSE 2010 last Monday March 29, 2010. I knew this breaking news from a FACEBOOK "friend" who has the exact words on her wall post that says "... is so saddened about the news!!! =( This is so unfair!!!!! You will always be our Miss Universe ate Venus, with or without a crown your genuine beauty shows!!! We love you!!!" After reading this and knowing all the information that I got out from the internet and television, I decided to create a fan page on Facebook named BRING BACK THE CROWN TO MARIA VENUS RAJ FOR BB. PILIPINAS 2010!!! This fan page is campaigning for Venus to retain her title. Another fan page was simultaneously created from a friend of Venus. This page got more than 1000 fans and it already reached the online news from here and abroad. I actually have some kind of hard feelings on this page because I cannot make any comments or any other same functions like on any pages do though I'm also a fan of that page. I am thinking that maybe I was blocked by the moderator. Anyway, it is really not that important. What matters most is my support to our very own Venus Raj.

In less than one month after being crowned Bb. Pilipinas-Universe, Maria Venus Raj Bayonito has been dethroned by the Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. due to questionable birth records.According to Bb. Pilipinas PR Manager Jenny Inocencio-Marcial, there were inconsistencies in Venus Raj’s birth certificate.
“Both Venus and her mother said she was born in Doha, Qatar, while yung na-submit nilang legal documents say she was born in the Philippines,” said Marcial.
The half-Indian half-Pinoy beauty was supposed to represent the Philippines in this year’s Miss Universe pageant in which she’s already one of the early favorites to win the crown. But due to the irregularities in her residency papers, Raj has been stripped off the title.
The Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. released a statement regarding this matter:
“Today March 29, 2010, Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. decided, with a heavy heart, to let Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2010 Maria Venus Raj go, after the organization discovered inconsistencies contained in her birth records, in contrast to her personal account of her birth.”
According to the rules of Bb. Pilipinas, when one titleholder gets dethroned the first runner-up will replace her. But the 1st runner-up, Dianne Necio, is only 17 years old. The Miss Universe pageant’s age limit is 18 to 26 years old. In this line that the second runner-up winner, Helen Henson, will then fill the vacated position.
A similar incident happened last 1999 when Bb. Pilipinas-Universe winner Janelle Bautista was dethroned due to irregularities in her residency papers. Miriam Quiambao was asked to replaced her. Mirriam went on to become the 1st runner-up in Miss Universe that year.

Not because that the deadline is near, I will no longer give life to my works. Now that the deadline is near, I gave the blog The CBEM Student Portal a new more handsome look. From the blues we know have the elegant black to serve as the theme color of the site. The header was also changed. The design was inspired by the Photoshop tutorial that i have searched before. It is like pieces of pictures scattered around it the title itself in round tand white colored text. The logos were has no longer low opacity but I rather made it 100 % visible. I also added video playlist for those musuc lovers and at the bottom I added Yahoo! News..Click to Access after the jump!!!

Pilipinas Got Talent: A Way of Discovering New Talents, A Hope for the Gifted Hopeless
12:14 AM Author: Aldin
As I am a very busy person, I never noticed that ABS-CBN Chanel 2 has already aired the much awaited talent show which came from abroad which is Got Talent. This talent show has already roamed from all over the globe particularly in Europe and America. And now we are one of the countries to show the world that we really got talent.
As I was watching the program with my family, the first run of the show indeed made the juries (Kris Aquino-Yap, Ai Ai de las Alas, Fred M. Garcia) find it hard to search for those talented Pinoys. But though these things happened, indeed the Filipinos showed the world the CONFIDENCE that we have though others say kapal ng mukha (Filipino expression equivalent to overconfidence).
As the show goes on, finally the juries already found those talented ones.As far as I remember, the lolas(grandmothers) -Goldies & Goodies from Cebu made it as the pioneer to qualify for the next round. They showed that age is not an excuse when it comes to enjoyment (as Kris Aquino said) when they danced Beyonce's Single Ladies (I am Sasha Fierce 2008).
As the title of this post suggests, that this show is a reservoire of hopeless talented people in order to surpass whatever hardships that they have. A boy named Jovith Baldivino,16,Batangas somehow drooped a tear on my eye upon hearing his story(like Ai Ai).. well, lets watch the video and ponder your reactions on the comments
Goldies & Goodies Pioneered the Pilipinas Got Talent for the next round.

The photo was from Jerome. He is my classmate. He is also the President of the Junior Institute of Business Administration. And the base effect came from the movie AVATAR by James Cameron(2009)
Well I don't have any other things to say..
Hope you'll like it!!!
